Begin your trip in the historic port city of Kochi, drive up to the sprawling tea estates of Munnar, experience the wild spice plantations of Thekkady, and conclude with a magical, unforgettable stay on a traditional houseboat cruising the serene backwaters of Alleppey.
Arrive at Cochin International Airport (COK) or Railway Station where our representative will welcome you. Transfer to your hotel in Kochi. In the afternoon, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi. Visit the historic Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and witness the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets at sunset. Enjoy an overnight stay in Kochi.
After breakfast, check out and embark on a highly scenic drive to the hill station of Munnar. En route, stop to admire the cascading Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, surrounded by dense jungle. Upon reaching Munnar, check into your hill resort and breathe in the fresh aroma of tea and cardamom. The evening is at your leisure to explore the local market. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Following breakfast, head out for a full-day exploration of Munnar. Visit the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Later, visit the Mattupetty Dam, where you can enjoy optional boating. Stop by Echo Point, the Rose Garden, and the sprawling Tata Tea Museum to learn about the tea-making process. Return to the hotel for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.
Check out after breakfast and drive through winding mountain roads toward Thekkady (Periyar). Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on an aromatic Spice Plantation Tour. Later, you can opt for a thrilling boat ride on Periyar Lake to spot wild elephants, bison, and exotic birds in the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy an overnight stay in Thekkady.
After an early breakfast, drive to Alleppey, the "Venice of the East." By noon, board your traditional, private Kerala Houseboat. Cruise slowly through the picturesque palm-fringed backwaters, narrow canals, and local villages. All meals (Lunch, Evening Tea/Snacks, and Dinner) featuring authentic Kerala cuisine will be freshly prepared and served on board. Overnight stay on the Houseboat.
Wake up to a peaceful morning on the backwaters and enjoy a traditional breakfast on the houseboat. Disembark by 9:00 AM and our driver will transfer you back to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Return home with beautiful memories of "God's Own Country."
